I have the Grundig HD Freesat box, and have added some additional channels using the manual tune. Download systools bkf recovery torrent. I was trying to add Sky News on 12.207GHz, but the box then picks up channels from 11.343. Does anyone know if there is a bug in the software which prevents it picking up the higher frequencies when doing a manual tune?:) Do other highband channels on the EPG work OK? Do you by any chance have quite an old Dish/LNB? It sounds as though your Highband (22KHz) switching is not working. This could be because you have an older 'Standard' LNB fitted rather than the more common 'Universal' LNB which you need for most satellite receivers today. If you do have an old 'Standard' LNB it will probably need replacing. Infinite stratos s3 sub indo streaming. Actually Graham, looks like you are correct, I've tried the freesat box on soneone elses dish and it works fine, so must be the LNB. Thanks for your help. Andy Glad to be of assistance Still a bit odd that your FTA receiver works OK. I guess that it's probably not using 22KHz switching but instead has a wide band tuner perhaps combined with switching the Local Oscillator frequency. I have an old analogue receiver that does this. I thought I had an alternative theory when I saw that Zone Thriller and Zone Reality were on Eurobird (28.5E), but then I saw that Sky News was on Astra (28.2E). So the 'Standard' LNB theory still holds for me. Glad to be of assistance Still a bit odd that your FTA receiver works OK. You would therefore have been limited to programmes which are either horizontally or vertically polarised only, clearly not a problem or you would have said so. 22KHz switching is clearly working OK on your STB since it worked OK on another dish. This leads me to think that your problems could be down to a number of causes: Poor signal strength affecting primarily the higher frequencies caused by poor dish alignment, faulty cabling, faulty LNB Or alternatively a faulty LNB (not responding to 22Khz), but this still does not fully explain why your FTA Rx works OK. The 'sensitivity' of your FTA box is probably better than the freesat box. Thanks for the additional thoughts. I'll have to get the ladders out and check the dish alignment before splashing out on a new LNB. It could be that because although signal strength looks okay, signal quality is not as good as it should be. The other channels that I can't get are: 204-Euronews 402-Wedding TV 411- O'seasproperty 503 - Bubble Hits and all of the new BBCi interactive streams are missing too. Andy FYI Don't know if it means anything but: Of all the channels that you can't receive, they are all vertically polarised with the exception of BBCi-8 and BBCi-9 (Many on the same transponder, 12560V). They are all on Eurobird (28.5E) except BBCi and Sky News.
